This is an interesting perspective especially since many of us spend more time with our co-workers than our families (although for me, working solo from home, it’s vice versa!).

I believe empathy, taking the time to understand different perspectives and open lines of communication are key to better relationships in our communities whether it be family, friends or our workplace.

I think creating and maintaining a positive culture through understanding our differences and priorities makes for more enjoyable workplaces and greater job satisfaction. It gives us the foundation to allow our individual strengths to flourish.

I think I will order that book!
